I wasted several years getting a college degree in History, which is great for dropping an extemporaneous 20-minute lecture on practically anything, but alas not much use otherwise. History, science fiction, fantasy, and gaming have been hobbies since I was a tot, back when what we now call ‘history’ was current events. My natural habitat is the wooded hills of the northeast USA, but I’m currently residing in Texas with one wife, one son, and one big, fat cat.
